Favourite Nude Nail Polish:

Recently, I've been loving the nude shade based nail polishes.
I have been reaching for this particular shade called mauve kiss from the Colour Show collection. It's a beautiful mauve brown shade that's perfect for the weather that's around at the moment-cloudy and dull. The transform to spring is a long process and this shade is the perfect colour until it's sunny enough to wear the bright colours. To make the shade even more shiny and amazing pair it with a gloss and the one I use is the nailfinity max factor gloss.

Everyday Eye Makeup:

Hello everyone,
Sorry it's been a while since I last posted but I haven't really been motivated to post or take any new pictures as you would have seen on my instgram page.
But after contemplating I decided it was time I posted again and I chose to do a post on my everyday eye makeup. I don't wear tons of makeup despite my love for makeup, most days of the week I will have no makeup on what so ever.
The first two products that I love to use if I choose to wear makeup is the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. I got this for Christmas and I love the look it gives my lashes. I find that other Mascaras that I own like a No7 one pull harshly on my lashes whereas this one doesn't and give my lashes lots of volume and separation. If your looking for a cheap, affordable mascara I defiantley recommend the Maybelline counter.

The second product in the picture is another maybelline product, 24hr Colour Tattoo. I have been wanting to try one of these for ages and many beauty bloggers/youtubers recommend them. I fell in love with the colour and it's the perfect nude shimmery pink, it's beautiful. I haven't tried a cream eye shadow before this one and I'd realised I've been missing out. It lasts all day and is just stunning.
Yet again, the product is maybelline. This gel eyeliner came with the great lash mascara with a limited christmas set. I'm very impatient with eyeliner but this precise, thin brush was surprisingly easy to get along with. It's the perfect size for the tip of your eyelid and with the right amount of eyeliner on the brush you can create a beautiful look for everyday or for a party.

I hope you liked this post as I don't really do many makeup related posts but if you did enjoy it let me know.

My Revision Tips:

Hello guys,
Last week I had 4 full days of tests so I thought it wise to share some of my revision tips that I used and ones that you might find useful. Logically, it depends on what type of learner you are. Eg. If you learn best visually like looking at words

Visual learners:
- sticking post it notes around your house/in places you go to most. This technique will allow you to revise but doing it discretly. You won't realise your revising. This also works well if you don't have much motivation to study.
- if you are a bit more motivated to study, you could simply just write it out and highlight words that need revising

Learn from your ears:
- the best thing if your not a visual learner is to record your voice and then replay it over and over in your head till your assured that it's in your memory.
- an alternative to this is to maybe go on youtube or ask your teacher for any websites that offer videos

A technique that I used and worked for me was writing questions that  could possibly occur in the test and then everyday logging on and trying to answer the questions. This way your training your brain to  be on the spot so when it does come to the test it won't just be the sentence/statement in your mind but the question it's the answer for too.

I also recommend isolating yourself from all technologies because my tests were in a big hall and it's very quiet. This way your also teaching your brain that there isn't going to be any noise/distraction. I also stopped myself from listening to music because I didn't want to become to use to it.

I recommend taking your revision/study books to school so if you have a test after lunch you can refresh the knowledge in your mind before you go in.

I hope you found this helpful in some way. I know lots of us have tests at the minute with mocks and things. I want to wish you all the best of luck, hope you all do well!

Hollister Winter Sale Haul

Hello everybody:

Today's post is a mini haul/collection of clothes that I have purchased from Hollister recently. I have never really invested in their brand of clothing before simply because my purse would tell me no but regardless, I still do go in there and fall in love with several pieces of clothing.
My auntie actually got me a few bits 'n' pieces for Christmas one of which she said was in the sell. { also one clothing item which is a crop top I haven't got a photograph of because it was in the wash!} I'm so in love with all the items I received/brought and thought I would share them with you!

The first item of clothing is one that I personally picked up in the sell and is this beautiful grey knitted thin jumper. If you look closely, my camers just about picks up the stunning glitter thread weaved with the mixture of shaded greys. I actually wore this jumper today and the monochrome colours go well with most outfits. I paired  this with some black leggings, black boots, a leather jacket and a grey beanie. The quality of the jumper is amazing too!
PRICE:£20

This is a crop top, one that my auntie kindly brought me for Christmas. It's burgendy and white striped with these little ridges creating a different texture. It's long sleeved which is very weird for me because even as a child I was never a fan of long sleeved tshirts but I really like how this specific crop top looks. It's also really comfy.

This last item is what I have lived in since receiving it on Christmas Day. It's the fluffiest most softest cardigan ever!! The material is softer then anything else I have purchased before and I feel it's such a statement clothing piece. I love it so much.

Ok everyone that's everything (excusing the extra top I wasn't able to photograph.) I hope you enjoyed this little haul.

Girl Online Review:

Girl online - Zoe Sugg

Ever since Zoé announced that she was bringing out a novel I couldn't contain my excitement!

I have just finished it this evening and I am completely overwhelmed with how much I fell in love with the story, (I'm not going to spoil any of it for those of you who haven't read it yet don't worry!)
I don't know if I was the only one, but it was like getting an insight into Zoe's view of the internet. Despite the view point obviously being penny's in the novel, I feel like zoe put a lot of her own personal thoughts into penny's words. It has completely inspired me to not only begin blogging more and taking every open opportunity to take a photo but to also realise just how risky the world online is!

The cover is apsolutly gorgeous and although your not suppose to judge a book by its cover, I think I would have still picked it up whether I was aware of who Zoé was or not because it is just stunning!

I am so proud of how far Zoé has come and how much she has been lucky enough to achieve in a short space of time. She's had so much success and this book is just the start of what she has to come.

Frankly, I want her to write another novel I loved it so much!

Welcoming 2015!

I can't believe another year is over.

There was just something about 2014 that made all the times messed up. For example, for me, it didn't feel like Christmas at all this year and I feel like I didn't get the chance to feel all festive and enjoy the hype up till Christmas.

When it was New Year's Eve it certainly didn't feel like at 12:00pm we would be welcoming and starting a whole New Year. It's crazy how fast this year has gone.

But despite how fast the days have past, I still feel like 2014 was a good, memorable year.  I went on holiday to Spain with my family in the summer, I went to see one direction and 5sos in concert in June, but most of all I made many happy memories with my friends and family. Going out to places for the day, sleepovers and just getting to know each more and more.

Although some people might be feeling sad a year has gone, I am very confident that 2015 will just as good, better even. With that, I wish you all a very happy new year and to make the most of it because before you know it, it will be 2016!
